I bought an Opteka .42 semifisheye lens (from ebay) for my Sony DSC H2 camera.
the adapter ring that came with it doesn't fit the camera. One thing more, the camera's built-in lens zooms out when i turn the power on..so how will it function if I attatch the opteka, since it blocks the built in lens from zooming out?
thank you,

Your DSC-H2 digital camera comes bundled with a 58mm filter/lens adapter and a screw-on lens hood. You'll need to find this 58mm filter adapter so that you can mount accessory lenses with 58mm mounting threads.
What is the mounting thread size on the Opteka .42x semi-fisheye lens? Is it 58mm? If so, you can just screw it onto the lens adapter that came with your camera. If it's a different size, you'll have to get step-up/step-down rings.

Chieh Cheng,
thanks for your reply.
i bought the camera in a clearance sale.
it was the display piece, so it didn't come
with a manual and other accessories.
do you mean that i need a lens adapter between
the camera and the opteka that i bought?
no wonder i can't figure it out.
how does it look like? like a tube?
thanks

You are welcome. The lens adapter and lens hood looks like the following when attached to the camera:
Here are the Sony parts (I searched for DSC-H2, these "DSC-H1" parts showed up):
262986101 ATTACHMENT RING
262986001 LENS HOOD ADAPTOR
Here is third-party lens adapters for the DSC-H1. I don't know if it works for the DSC-H2 . . . but all indication says "yes".
