problem re-installing Cyber-shot Viewer

had the software installed and working well done format. now put the cd in try to install and get--- the installed version of the application could not be determined.the set up will now be terminated

Try uninstalling the Cyber-shot viewer first from "Add/Remove Programs" in Control Panel.
