ViviCam 55 connection error

Everytime I try to upload pictures it says "connection error--please check troubleshooting guide" but my problem is, someone gave me the disc and camera--so I have no trouble shooting guide. Please help...

You can get the proper Vivitar 55 software here:

The software install is for a bunch on languages, including English.
