Numeric camera . . . also called digital camera in the United States and other English speaking countries.
There use to be a company called SiliconFilm . . . They have been around for a while, even before numeric cameras became popular, promising to bring digital film cartridges to the 35mm SLR's. Its model designation was EFS-1. They have yet to deliver on their original promise.
I just checked, they still exist. And now they have a new model: EFS-4 . . .
What ever happened to EFS-1, EFS-2, and EFS-3??? I don't know . . .
