In my Executive Editor's "Fun with Book Covers" blog entry, he said that the ExtremeTech team has been having a bit of insider fun at embedding a joke into the covers of each ExtremeTech title. Be the first one to find the joke for a title and he will give you a copy of it . . . free.
As far as I know, Hacking Digital Cameras just hit the shelves two days ago. Now is your chance to stop by the local bookstore. Take a look at the cover, see if you can spot the joke, let Chris know, and claim your free copy.
I don't know what the joke is, since I wasn't fully involved in the final productions of the book. I have reviewed the front and back cover a few times. There are one or two things on it that I felt was out of place for a photographer. So maybe one of those is it. But it's up to you to find the real joke.
Oh, just a tip, you'll have to see the cover at the local bookstore for yourself. The cover that is distributed on Amazon and many other online booksellers are outdated. I have asked for a list of changes during the production process. Good luck!
Be sure to post here if you do get a free copy . . . let us know what the joke is, so that we don't scratch our heads till we are bold.

I have just obtained the HDC front and back cover in high resolution JPEG format. So I have placed them on-line for you to examine. Just click on the front and back cover to see the high-resolution versions. Good luck and be sure to let us know if you find it!
P.S. Now you can also download the detailed TOC, full sample chapter, and the full book Index.
