Inside the Fujifilm QuickSnap Outdoor

Does the fujifilm work like a pinhol camera?

Hi Emily,

The hole is a little too big for pinhole photography. But you can tape a thin metal film in front of the large hole and poke a tiny pinhole into it.

The main problem is reusing the FujiFilm disposable camera. If you know a good way of reusing it, please share it with us.

I'm not positive but I think there may be a way of removing the middle spool but that may mean sacrificing one camera.I'd try but I need the film for a school project.

If you expose all of the frames in a pitch black room, you would have rewound the film back into the cartridge, so you won't have to waste the film. Of course, you'll need a film leader retriever to get the film back out.

I'm currently messing around with this camera. I wanted to experiment with freezing a camera and forming ice and/or condensation on the film and lens. I used this camera because it doesn't has any electronics and I don't want to electrocute myself. I will try and reload it and if I'm successful I'll post directions.

That sounds like an interesting experiment, Tom. Love to hear your results.

I just reloaded the camera. I think it was originally loaded with 1000 speed film, which I have never seen before. When I reloaded the camera, I tuned it into a pinhole camera. I'm advancing the film from the bottom of the camera and not with the wheel. I'm bring the original roll in to be developed soon so we'll see what happened.
