Prevent Canon CanoScan LiDE 200 from Cropping Photos

Hi,
some jackass screwed around with my Canon CanoScan LiDE 200 scanner and it crops photos and I didn't want that. when I scan articles it cuts off the important stuff. There is nothing on my desk top stuff that came with the scanner about how to crop or uncrop photos.
How do I do it? I thought there was a file, but no there is nothing!!!!!!!!
What do I do. Please help me.

I don't have a Canon CanoScan LiDE 200, but from other scanners I've seen, the scanner user interface has a preview of your scanned page. You can rubber-band drag a box around it to crop out the white space. In this case, it sounds like that rubber-band box is made smaller than your page. You may just have to make the rubber-band box bigger.
