Sigma 300-800mm F5.6 DG - A Top-Notch Lens

Sigma Corporation is a Japanese company best known for cameras, flashes, lens and other photographic accessories. They produce their products in Aizu factory, Bandai, Fukushima, Japan. The filter size of the lens is 46 mm which is situated at the rear side of the lens. The lens maximum magnification ratio is 1:6.9. The focusing and zooming can't change with respect to its overall length. The Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) ensures a full-time manual focusing function and it provides a quiet, high-speed auto focus function.

A circular polarizing filter can be used in this lens. When this Sigma 300-800mm F5.6 DG get used with 1.4x EX or 2x EX APO tele converters, this lens becomes a 600-1600mm F11 MF lens or a 420-1120 mm F8 MF lens. The lens gets coated with a new substance which reduces the flare and ghosts and provides excellent focusing on the subject. It comprises two ELD glass elements which avoid the chromatic aberration (CA) effectively. This Sigma 300-800mm comes with accessories such as lens hood, circular polarizing filter, shoulder strap, fitted padded case, front and rear caps.

It contains a bayonet lens hood for mounting the lenses. This lens can be fitted with Sigma, Canon and Nikon-D. The lens weighs 5880 grams (207.4 ounces).
