camera batteries

where do you guys buy your camera batteries? do you prefer OEM over generic ones?

i need to get one before wednesday, what's my best option?

newegg's pretty fast, anyone remembers if their standard shipping arrives in 2 days or 3 days?

I usually just find the most inexpensive one online. Usually Amazon with its free Super Saver shipping. Next options are Adorama or B&H camera.

The capacity specification of the battery is more important than the brand. The no-brand usually have larger capacity.

when it comes to things like film, ink cartridges, toner, batteries and stuff, I tend to be more of a brand purist.

For camera batteries, I stick to oem. It's hard to find oem batteries from bestbuy etc. I ended up Paying for expediated shipping from newegg. I think it came in 2 days but I am not positive.

I usually buy from Amazon, but the only one they have available for Amazon Prime doesn't ship for 3 to 5 weeks.

I ordered a generic one from Newegg this morning. It didn't offer me a "will call" option. Hope it arrives in time. If it doesn't, I will just buy an OEM one from Samy's locally. $50+tax!

Haha, as I was writing this, I saw another generic one became available on Amazon with 2 minutes to spare to get it here by Tuesday with Amazon Prime. Ordered that too.

BTW, I know it's available, but how do you get the "will call" option to show from Newegg? I wonder if it's only for certain items...
