Canon Eos SDK Exception error

hope you can help me .

Sorry if my english is stumbled and this mail seems a bit confused .

Start of this i bought an EOS 400D and was glad to find the Canon SDK for EOS.

I started to Program with it. Everything worked fine.

Since one day everytime is started my Program in Visual Basic Express an Exception Occurs.

I tried some Troubleshooting and recognized that the eventhander is causing this Exception.

I deactivated it an it worked. But i need this eventhandler .

Im Using the Source of the VB sample.

Im Really hoping you can help me.

Im from germay and the technical English in the Documentfiles is nothing for me .

Do you know where the problem is or do you now programmers with the same ??

One further tinh i found out that it could perhaps be the EOS Utility which is causing the problem.
After i installed an update my prog was working again but only one day. Then it was the same.

Im using the unmodified samplecode and it crashes with the exception.

Tried Canon SDK 1.3 and Canon SDK 2.0

Both the same
