I am trying to get the number of photos taken. This is not documented in the API manual, but I see there is a camerra property constant named kEdsPropID_ShutterCounter. Does anyone know how to use kEdsPropID_ShutterCounter? Does it return the number of photos taken? Is it supported on Digic 4 cameras?
Thanks!

Dave, that functionality was removed by Canon in Version 2.4. So you can get the shutter count if you use that version of the SDK but it won't access 40D or newer cameras.
