DCR-HC26 -- Is there a driver for Windows Vista Avail. for this??

Hi, I was just wondering if there was some type of driver to allow me to run my Sony DCR-HC26 Video Camcorder on my Windows Vista system through USB? I checked the Sony site for any updated drivers, but of course they don't want to give anything away for free, and are charging a whopping 29.00 for a CD that I already have. I have the drivers for XP and such, but I NEED the driver for Vista. Can anyone help? Please reply to me at starrynightsky21@yahoo.com if you can help me, or lead me in the right direction. Or just reply here. Whatever works!

Thanks,
Starr

And let me know as well, please. I'm so frustrated with Sony and with Microsoft.

How about trying to set the XP compatibility setting as suggested in the "Sony DCR-HC36 drivers" TrackBack below. It seems to have worked for many folks.

Your Posting mentions a trackback below, but I didn't see anything. Was there
supposed to be a file attached to your posting?

Thanks
