grey horizontal stripes during playback
Hey there! Anyone know how I can get rid of the grey horizontal stripes that show up during playback AFTER I pressed the reset button while ejecting the tape? The tape now ejects and the error code is gone, but the stripes are KILLING me... any advice would be MUCH appreciated... I have looked in the manual, searched online... THANKS IN ADVANCE! Liz

Hi Liz,
I have the same problem with my sony at the moment. Did you ever manae to fix it? I suspect the head is knackered, which is probably not worth repairing. Any feedback gratefully received.
