Canon PowerShot G11

When I first bought this camera I was a little nervous. Actually, I was very nervous! I'm not an advanced photographer, but I do enjoy it very much. So naturally I was a little apprehensive about investing in a sophisticated, and expensive tool. Because to tell you the truth, I'm just not that tech-savy. And when you first walk into the camera section of Best Buy and look around, its a little overwhelming. But I'm glad I found the Canon Powershot G11 ...

The Canon PowerShot G11 is a small camera. IT fits very nicely into my hands, and I have pretty average hands. Its a snappy looking little thing so even the most picky individual wouldn't mind carrying this little guy around. It also fits in a purse quite nicely. But don't underestimate this camera because of its size!

This little thing can do so much! I never knew a camera could be so easy to use but so professional looking. One of my favorite things about this camera is the swiveling screen. Of course that has nothing to do with how the pictures actually look, but it sure does look fancy when you are at a party!

Thats another thing! Whether you are at a soccer game taking pictures of your daughter's first goal, or at the lake taking pictures of that Blue Heron you saw, or even at a photographer convention, you can whip this thing out and fit right in, no matter what the occasion is.

A side benefit to this camera are the abundance of accessories that fit with it. My favorite is the underwater camera case. Me and my husband love to go scuba diving, so naturally I was looking for a camera that would be able to travel with me. I was a little worried that I wouldn't find one or that I would have to fork over my 401K to do it. But thank the heavens, Canon came to my rescue! You just fasten it around the camera and dive in! I never have to worry about destroying my investment!

Don't let a purchase like this intimidate you! If you need a good solid camera, this is the one for you. Don't just settle for something that doesn't have all the features you want, because now you can have it all! With the Canon Powershot G11.

I hope this review was helpful to someone. And I also hope that if you do invest in this camera that it works the same wonders for you that it did for me.
