Fujifilm Holdings Corporation is a Japanese multinational corporation well-known for photographic films and cameras. They produce products such as computer media storage consumables, CD-Rs, recordable DVDs and floppy disks. Fujifilm is the largest photographic and imaging company in the world. Fujifilm introduced the world's first three dimensional digital imaging system with the Finepix Real 3D V1 picture viewer, 3D print capability called Fujifilm Finepix Real 3D W1 Digital Camera.
The camera measures 123.6 x 68 x 25.6 mm. The optical zoom will be 3x. The aperture at wide and telephoto end will be f/3.7,f/5,f/8 and f/4.2,f/5.6,f/9 respectively. The minimum focusing distance will be 60 cm. The shutter speed varies at 1/8 second to 1/500 second at night, 3 seconds to 1/500 second at night (Tripod) and 1/2 second to 1/1000 second manually. The continuous shooting can be available at two frames per second at 3D and one frame per second at 2D. The W1 includes two CCD sensors. It blends the information and produces a single symmetrical image for both stills and movies. The camera features a newly developed Real 3D lens system. The two fujinon lenses bear high resolution and exquisite rendering and so it offers a natural 3D image by flawlessly laying the two images together. The lenses get protected by a robust aluminium die-cast frame from vibration and impact.
The Real photo Processor 3D synchronizes the data passed to it by the two CCD sensors and two lenses. It is used to determine the shooting situations such as focus, brightness and tone. The 2.8 inches LCD monitor having 230,000 dots displays the 3D/2D images on the camera beautifully with natural 3D images to the naked eye. The user can take 3D stills and videos with excellent picture quality by pointing the camera and pressing the shutter button. The Finepix Real 3D W1 allows the user to adjust the settings according to the shooting situations. While using the 3D two shot function, the camera takes the second shot after taking the first shot and saves the single 3D image in the camera manually. It edits the 3D image which is useful for long zoom telephoto shots.
The 3D interval shooting allows the user to take two shots from different viewpoints continuously. It can take more dynamic shots even a sea of clouds from the airplane. The parallax control function manually adjusts the 3D images either during the viewing of images in LCD or during filming. The camera can capture 3D stills and movies with ease. The 3D telephoto and macro shots can be taken with advanced 3D mode. The camera includes the new cutting-edge feature with pioneering technology. The adjustable stand is used to change the angle for clear 3D viewing. The operation can be controlled by using a remote control comes with the camera. The data can be transferred to the memory card, high-speed infrared transmission and batch transmission by connecting the camera using the USB connection. The camera weighs 260 grams (9.2 ounces). Fujifilm Finepix Real 3D W1 Digital Camera is priced around 660 US Dollars.
