Minolta Z2 to work with Pentax AF500FTZ Flash

I own a Minolta DiMAGE Z2 (great camera), Penatx SLR PZ-1P (great camera too) and AF500FTZ Zoom Flash (very powerful flash). While waiting for my ideal Pentax DSLR, I hope to use my current flash with Minolta Z2 for some off-camera projects. Unfortunately I am unable to find any adaptor to work with ISO hotshoe (Z2 uses unique hotshoe).

Is there anyway to make a hotshoe convertor which I can use with one or more features of my flash:
1) trigger the flash
2) TTL features

Or purchase/built a slave trigger that works with Z2.

Regards,
Francis
