Nikon Coolpix L12 - Reinserting front lens

I have a Nikon Coolpix L12 that previously experienced the notorious "lens error" problem. In an attempt to remedy the error, a family member literally pulled out the front (and smallest) portion of the lens (recall there exist three lens "portions"). I have attempted to realign and reinsert the lens with no success. Does anybody have any manuals or advice regarding how to accomplish this?

Yes i have the copy of the full service manual I purchased from a repair shop in the UK, just tell me what section of the page you want I shall scan it and send it to your email address.
I tried to repair it myself for my camera but finally I end up sending it to Nikon for repair.
