Olympus MJU-1010 Digital Camera

The first things users notice about the Olympus MJU-1010 is how well built the camera feels and looks. The Olympus MJU-1010 has 10 mega pixels and a 7x zoom lens that allows its users to capture quality images from afar. The camera is beautifully styled and gives users a high-performance that can last for many years. The durability of the Olympus MJU-1010 has to do with several factors. Some of those factors include the camera's engineering, design, and weather-proof features. It is one of the few cameras that has a weatherproof and waterproof exterior allowing its photographers to take it anywhere without concern. The camera is slim and has an all-aluminum body and modern chrome details. Olympus MJU-1010 comes in three colors - silver, blue or black.

Unlike digital cameras in a similar price range, the Olympus MJU-1010 allows photographers to capture images quickly without waiting for what feels like an eternity. Prior to taking the pictures, photographers can easily choose from 23 different scene settings which is two more than the average camera in that price range holds. The camera also has a panorama-feature that maximizes the wide-angle potential of the Olympus MJU-1010.

One of the only issues users had with the Olympus MJU-1010 was the complication of the users-manual. The technical writers of the manual are accused of not making the instructions for the camera an easy read. Fortunately, the camera itself is not difficult to manage or operate and each technical button on the camera is placed in a comfortable and logical position so that clumsy photographers don't strike buttons that they didn't mean to hit.

Overall, users of the Olympus MJU-1010 are not disappointed with the ease of use or photo quality that the camera displays. The Japanese design firm that created the Olympus MJU-1010 declared it as the "ultimate in modern compact photography" and most users of the new digital camera felt it lived up to the firm's expectations. The whole performance of the camera is judged by the speed in which it can capture shots and the Olympus MJU-1010 is considered pretty fast. The camera takes a mere 1.5 seconds to start up and the shutter lag is measured at 0.1 seconds which is considered fast. The speed, durability, and crystal clear pictures the Olympus MJU-1010 produces makes it an impressive camera. It has become desirable among professionals and amateurs alike who need a camera that will last for a lifetime.

The camera with firmware up to 1.2 has "-":
image not sharp, no sharpness control in camera menu,
video 640x480 30 fps only on Xd-cards type M+ or H, and video quality as always for olympus at medium quality, zoom digital with steps, blocking on 10mpix sensor is just another fact of bad firmware coders
Many blurry images, because camera on wide angle sets shutter delay 1/30 sec for scenes with low light and flash, so if where any moving in a scene, image will be blurry, both stabilizations didn't work in that case, only need to set 1/60 delay, but here it is not done.

image stabilizer only works on movement of the photographers hand, it has no effect on moving objects
