Vivicam 4345 My PC cannot locate pictures on camera, please help...

I am desperately trying to upload the pictures from my camera to the pc via a USB cable but I keep getting an error message saying E:/DCIM is not accessible and that the parameter is incorrect. Do you know what this means or what can be done to resolve.
