canon a75 or kodak c530 trail cam hack?

I'm attempting to convert my old canon a75 and kodak c530 into trail cams so as to take pictures of the wildlife on my property. Can this be done with one or both of these? Any guidance would be apprecitated.

I added a few links below that have examples of how to do what you want with various digital cameras. Unfortunately, they are mostly for Sony and Olympus.

Do you have some basic electrical background? Like soldering wires and understanding what is a simple closed circuit? If so, you can do the same with your cameras by looking at examples. The "Hacking Digital Cameras" book explains this simple concept. You can get the "Building Triggers" sample chapter from the "Hacks" section.
