Auto Focus enabled hack

Hi there all!
I would like to know if someone else tried it before I do, or has any info. I own a Toshiba Camileo H20 camcorder, and want to get fixed focus at a given moment (pressing a swithc, for example) so as to get fine focus when recording in macro (starting from 10mm). The thing is that actually it focus and defocus trying to find anything to stop focused at, but when you manage to do it, if anything moves in the image -i.e. an insect-, it starts moving up-backwards producing a really disturbing footage, when it can be really great (1440x1080 PROGRESSIVE, with really nice lens quality).

I'm thinking on manage to open it and just cut the wiring for AF and add a switch so I can stop focus at a point and make fine recording; it may be reset just using the switch or, not so bad, rebooting the cam.

Any suggestion?
