Microsoft Windows Vista driver for DCR-DVD201

dcr-dvd201 I need vista drivers for this to work I payed about a grand for this thing a year ago. I didn't have a burner now I just got a new computer that has vista and I still can't do anything with this handy cam sony needs to get moving. I buy alot of sony products. This is the only problem I have found on my system.

I am in the exact same situation that you are and am pissed because I can't burn DVDs! Sony tech is of zero help other than giving me some lame reference table on one of thier support sites that tells me what I already know.........no VISTA drivers

Same here, has anyone figured it out yet? I've sent Sony an email complaining about the issue and this was their response:

Currently there are no details available on the release of Vista compatible software with the DCR-DVD200_DVD201. Our website at Sony Asia Pacific : Support will keep you updated on future software updates.

I have a DCR-DVD201 and would like to download Picture Motion Browser ver. 2.0.12 for Vista but i need the serial number and the CD-ROM PART number and i do have the imagemixer cd but have no idea if the number on it is the right one. ive typed that number in but it does not work. i actually dont really know how all this works but if someone could help me out that would be chill. email [email protected]. thanks!

I have the same problem as you guys, i tried everything to even get the movie on my laptop (windows vista) but it doesn't work, like wwtf

i don't know what to do...
i also dowloaded drivers what say they work for windows vista but i doesn't wortk....

SOMEONE HELP US!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been having a lot of trouble with sony equipments. From cell phone,to sony vaio computer (the video board failed one month after warranty finishes - coincidence?!). I'm looking for the dcr dvd201 driver for windows vista too, but Sony seems to be indiferent about the customers. Nevermore I buy anything from Sony.
