Recording Directly to Memory Stick

Hi-
I saw your review of the Sony DCR-TRV350, and I was wondering if you knew how to record directly to the memory stick? I have a Mac OS X 10.5.8 and I'm unable to transfer the videos stored in the camcorder. Thank you so much.

Switch to Memory Stick mode and push the red record button. You'll have to have a Memory Stick in the camcorder, of course.

You can also record from tape to Memory Stick. Put the camcorder into VCR mode, play the video on tape, and push the red record button to copy to Memory Stick.

Just a note, the Memory Stick quality lower than the DV quality from tape.

Thank you so much. I really wasn't expecting to get a reply. How do you put the the camera in memory stick mode though?

It's on the same switch as the camcorder mode and the VCR mode.
