Sony TRV-608 Tape Ejection Problem

I hope someone can give me advice on my tape ejection problem

I own a sony CCD-TRV608 HI8 camcorder. The other day I tried to eject my tape. I ejected about half way out and the stopped. When I pushed the eject button again the camera keeps trying to ejected it out, the tape loader goes up about 1/8 inche than pulls back to it original position (half way out). when I push the button again the camera beeps and shows the message C:32:20 (T reel side tape slacking when unloading. Remove the battery or power cable, connect, and perform operations from the beginning.) I tried to that but it does not help. I don't know how to proceed. Of course getting it repaired by best buy will cost a fortune. I can also send pictures to illustrate my problems. I will appreciate any help. Thank you very much.
