I am trying to download a driver for my IBM PC camera

It looks EXACTLY like the Xirlink you show in your writeup.

The process works as you said, except when it gets finished, the screen says Cannot Find or locate driver……. It doesn't seem to be going onto the internet to find it. Maybe it just isn't there any more??????

Any ideas?

Any possibility that you could attach the proper driver for me to an email?

I am trying to save an older XP SP 3 computer to give to a student to learn with, and don't want to go to the expense of buying a new PC camera.

I'm rather confused, as I don't have a Xirlink writeup. I do have a IBM PC Camera write up. Please point to the actual web page to eliminate the confusion. Thanks.

I can't comment without seeing the actual write up. As far as I can remember, You are not suppose to go onto the internet to find it.

If you are talking about the IBM PC Camera, then it's the driver that came with the camera. My write up (assuming we are talking about the same write-up) specifically uses the driver that comes with the camera.

The camera I have is the exact IBM PC Camera shown in your write-up, but when I try to do what you suggest to get the driver to install, it comes back with a message that the driver can't be found and I should install it from a CD. I don't have the original CD any more. When I try to search the internet for a driver I can't find one. Can you point me to a source for it, or email me a file with the driver. Thank you very much for your kind and prompt reply.
