Adding a mic jack.

I have a Nikon Coolpix L110 that I want to add a mic jack to. I've done this before on other cameras so I'm not afraid of the skills involved. Seems to me there was once a link to an article about this here on the forum. Anyone remember this?

Thanks!

What kind of specific information are you looking for? It seems like you can take the camera apart, find the microphone and splice a audio jack into the wiring.

Yes, I know what I'm trying to do, but thanks for reminding me! I just was trying to determine what covers should be removed to get to the mic wiring. For example, one can NOT get to the mic wiring by trying to remove the mic covers. Only the metal mic cover grill can be removed, but there are no screws under it. Looks like the back cover must be removed to access the wiring. Anyone agree?
