Nikon Coolpix 5700 Turns off when shooting; turns back on and off and on .......
My Nikon 5700 is about 3-4 years old. My camera has begun to shut off immediately after I take a picture, lens goes back in, etc., and then re-opens to take next picture. Sometimes shuts off by itself while I am getting ready to shoot.
Good factory (new) batteries and extended battery. Reset menus to default, good flash card, etc. Anyone experiencing this besides me?

Did you ever find out the source of the problem? I am experiencing the same problem...............
