2-pin to D80 adapter

I own the PB-6 bellows and the AR-10 Double Release Cable.
I now wish to use it with the D80 but there is no adapter.
Nikon support just say there isn't one matter "solved".

The 4-pin socket to which I refer is item 12 of the page 2
of the D80 Manual "Remote cord connector", this seems to be
different to the USB standard mini connector types.

There is a Nikon MC-25 Cord (10 Pin To 2 Pin) to use with
the D200 & D300 but nothing for the D80.

I know that ADIDT have a reverse engineered copy for HAMA
and other remote cord copies but can the connector and the
pin-out data be obtained to make up a 2-pin to D80 adapter?
