Coolpix 5700 - Compatible with SanDisk Extreme III 4GB?

The answer is sort of. I got a just that card duty-free oversea and eventually got it working, but without the full space.

From memory here's how I got mine going: The problem was the camera can only deal with 2GB of card. I used a partition editor (gparted?) to partition the card into two equal chunks. The camera only deals with the first one (come to think of it, I haven't seen anything of the second since).

You get the speed pretty good though.

I've probably missed out a step, this was a while back, but I hope it helps.
