Hi there, I just discovered this website. I have a nikon S4 and overnight the pictures became real bad (pictures look striped). I am thinking about reinstalling the firmware : does anybody got it in any version ?
Thanks
NB : I have also a nikon FM2 that is 25 years old now and works perfectly ... ;-(

Images with horizontal stripes may be caused by:
1. Shutter jammed open.
2. Sensor (CCD or CMOS) problem.
3. Bad image processing (board problem).
Either would require a qualified digital camera technician to look at.
