How to Open the Nikon IA-20?

I've got a Nikon Coolscan V ED film scanner, and the IA-20 attachment for scanning APS rolls of developed film has stopped working--the door is jammed shut (though I can open it if I use sideways pressure), and it causes the fast-flashing error light when I insert it in the scanner.

I thought if I could open it up (the whole thing, not the door) then I could take a look around and see if I can figure out what's going on--but I can't even figure out how to do that. I removed 2 screws from the top and 6 from the bottom, but it won't pull apart. Does anyone have a repair manual for it or experience with this?

I have the same problem. Did you find out how to disassemble the IA-20?
