Camcorder can

Hey guy,

How's it going? I just ran into your site and find it really interesting. You have alot of hacking projects with didgital cams, I wonder if you can help me with something? I was given an old used camcorder, it's a sharp camcorder made back in 1990 that used the large vhs video tapes to record on. I took it apart for parts, I am a machinist hobbyist and I have used parts from all types of machines to utilize in my machining projects, the parts basically are refurbished into precision tools for my projects and machines. But as I was contemplating what to do with this camcorder a thought occurred to me...can this camcorder be modified into a mini-spy camera utilizing the lense's electronics? If so can you feature the project on your page with pics? It's the camcorder that featured the full auto system as emphasised on the camera casing, I don't know if that helps. You might find a nice pic on ebay to use as reference. I would appreciate it if you can help.
