DV Time Codes

Hi,
When I transfers video from my HC-36 to my Dell laptop ( Vista on it ) using Firewire I did not see date & time when I run captured video from my laptop. I need help

Are you talking about the DATECODE? DATECODE is the time stamp that is encoded into your DV file. DATECODE time stamp shows when you shot the video. Is that the date & time you are talking about? You can use DVDate (Freeware) to read the DATECODE.

Yes I am talking about the Date & Time on which I shot the video. This date & time should be visible while playing back just to remember the occasion.
