Playing Windows Media Files in Mac OS X

There are quite a few different Windows proprietary media file formats--Windows Media Audio (WMA), Windows Media Video (WMV), Advanced Systems Format (ASF), and Advanced Stream Redirectory (ASX). Mac OS X doesn't come with the software codec to play-back these files. Luckily you can get the Flip4Mac Windows Media Components for QuickTime. This free playback plug-in makes your Mac OS QuickTime installation work with most, if not all, of the Windows media formats. Link to download the Flip4Mac Windows Media Components for QuickTime is in the "Related Links" below.
