1GB Memory Stick for DCR-TRV350

Hello, I am a novice at this so please forgive me if the question rambles on! I have a sony trv350. Work pretty good for it being my first camcorder. Here is the question, I want to buy a memory stick(1GB) I already have a 128 MG mem.stick , but my problem is I keep coming across these 1GB mem. sticks that have "magic gate" My confusion is that the manual says that "the camcorder cannot record or play back data that needs the magic gate function. So as you can see, I'm a little scared of getting the right stick. Can anyone help??

That's ok. The 1GB Memory Stick PRO show MagicGate to mean that it's capable of that functionality. It doesn't mean you have to use the functionality.
