AIS-to-IAS Adapter
I recently upgraded my Sony DV Handicam (DCR-PC110) to the new high definition model HDR-HC3 but find that my previous Sony Electret Condenser microphone (ECM-HS1) having an Intelligent Accesory Shoe (IAS) won't fit on the new Active Interface Shoe. I am searching for a AIS-to-IAS adapter. Is there any fundamental reason why such an adapter can't be made?
