Hi - Have you ever come across a solution to this. I have just brought a Sony A7s and have tried to configure the old Sony XLR adapter that has a AIS shoe. I then brought the SONY ADP-MAC adapter that is designed to let you connect AIS devices to the the newer SONY MIS hot shoe. Unfortunately when I try to connect that I get a error message saying that "This device is not supported" I have seen some traffic where people claim this is a result of SONY have done something to force you to buy the newer XLR -K1M & -K2M that both have the MIS hot shoe mounts. Do you know if anyone has found a solution?

I assume you had no luck with this? Was hoping it would be possible...
