Same error. Added Sony Zoom Microphone, camera worked fine, then at very end of tape, autofocus stopped working, and then after changing tape, this error message came up

I got the same issue, error code C:32:60, I removed the battery, unplug the power cable, reset, let it like this for 2 days, when I took it back, it was working again...(if I switched on imeediatley after reset, the issue was still there)

I had this problem and almost instantly fixed by reattaching zoom mic and taking camera off mains power. I only get this message when I'm usinbg the camera on main power rather than hand held with battery pack.

I`ve got the same problem. Tried resetting and new tape, recharged battery. Nothing helps. Took it in to Sony service depot and they want to replace autofocus part for a cost of $383. Already charged me $30 to look at it. There must be a simpler way to reboot this. Help anyone

i have a HDR FX1000 and i have the same problem at the moment as well, i was filming then i tunred it off then i turned it on and that code (C:32:60) along with a sign saying "re-apply to power source" this came up and has not gone away, i have tried to smack the camera, as some people said it migh help but nothing. I live in sweden and if i have to send the camera to sony in the USA it will cost me a fortune, can anyone please help me.

I have the same problem, camera can not focus or autofocus run.Servo Zoom works and the camera behaves differently dobe.Ale reports error c: 32:60. I Sales service Sony and it looks like 1600 will fix Euro.Za replacement lens.

I have this same issue with my Sony Handicap 4k and one thing that worked to get the camera to focus was to turn it off, detach the battery for a few seconds, put the battery back on, place the camera on a flat surface like a table and then try turning it on. When I tried to do all the above but turn it on in my hand where the lens could wiggle around, it didn't seem to work. But, having it stable on the table or a tripod worked a few times so far.
