possible via the A/V Connector - you need adapter to the 3,5mm Jack.

Weblog: Camera Hacker
Excerpt: I need to completely disable audio on a Sony HDR-HC3. Do you have any idea how to do this. I have a ECM-HGZ1 Gun mic and can cannibalize it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
