The internal lens cover refused to open completely and than close completely.
Afer a few times switching the camcorder off and on, it now is almost completely open and I get no error.
It is possible to film.
When switching of the lens cover says open. And the error message " lens cover not fully closed" appears before shutdown.
Sony just says : sent it to us and we will look at it for a lot of money and then let you know how much it will cost.
-is it a problem to leave it open?
- can I do someting about it?
A week after this I tried to switch on the flash and got an error : E:91:01 see another thread

I am no expert but the problem is probably caused by a slight amount of dirt on the lens barrier motor gears. Try blasting the lens with some air. I have a DCR HC90 that I fixed by taking the camera apart. I disassembled the lens barrier to remove a grain of dirt. Because it malfunctions too easily I disconnected the connector to the lens barrier. It is always open now and I use a manual lens cap.(If you disassemble a camcorder you have to discharge the flash capacitor using a resistor to avoid very unpleasant jolts.) *note* Water will cause it to temporarily stick too.
