Mac OS X driver for DCR-TRV240

I have the sony trv 240 camcorder and I can't find any drivers for my MAC x. where can I go to find the software, sony does not have it

Are you looking for a Mac USB driver for your DCR-TRV240? You'll probably have better luck (and quality) if you go with the Firewire port; your Mac should be able to recognize the camcorder automatically.

I also have the DCR-TRV240 using USB firewire cable but my mac does not pickup the camera, any ideas? I'm using OS 10 intel based MacBook Pro.

Any info would be great!!

USB and Firewire are completely different. There is no such thing as a "USB firewire cable". What do you have? USB cable? Or Firewire cable?
