Problem running Picture Package

i have a sony handycam DCR-HC36 digital video camera recorder.

i am trying to off load the movies from the camerorder to my computer. i am using Windows XP professional 2002 as the OS.

i have installed the picture package cd that has come with the camcorder.

everytime i try to to open the picture package menu icon, i receive the error-

"to run this application, you need to install Macromedia flash player first"

however, i have adobe 8 with the the macromedia flash player already installed.

i am wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how did you rectify this issue.

thanks in advance for the help

sincerely

Download the Picture Package Flash Update. It "Resolved the problem that 'Picture Package Menu' cannot be started in the environment that only Macro Media Flash Player Version 8 is installed and Version 7 or previous is not installed."
