Sony Handycam DCR-HC54E Automatic Forward and Rewind Problem

I have a handycam dcr-hc54e
got a problem, when i insert the dv casset into deck the camera begin to forward the tape automatically until find the end. and after this camera begin to rewind the tape, unable to play or record the tape,
