Sony Handycam HDR-CX150 as a Web Cam

I was hoping to use my Sony Handycam HDR CX150 as a web cam as it picks up sound well. But cannot find anywhere on the web anything about it - just this comment below from a 'thread' here http://www.japanonline.jp/sony-handycam-hdr-cx150-unboxing-a . . .

"any idea how to or if the CX150 can be used as a webcam?".
"Unfortunately not, it can only record video to it's internal storage, which is true of most AVCHD camcorders."
