In year's past I discovered that non Sony branded head cleaners made the problems worse. I always wound up buying a Sony Super 8 cleaner tape. These do not seem to be available anywhere. There is a data tape cleaner, for D8 mechanisms, and I wonder if that is what to use. If I recall correctly, the Sonys did not take kindly to liquid cleaning systems. any thoughts? thanks.
