I have a sony dcr-hc26. I do not have a firewire port and have searched for days on the net... there is no usb driver for vista.
Does anybody know of such a driver as the sony one does not work.
Or is there a video transfer software that does have a driver included? Adobe premier CS3 does not have one.
Thanks in advance.

The USB streaming of this Camcorder is not supported by Windows Vista Operating System.
You can use an i.LINK interface to transfer videos from the Camcorder to the Computer without using the supplied Software.
You can also use the supplied A/V cable to transfer videos from the Camcorder to the Computer.
If your computer does not feature this port, you may contact your Computer retailer to install a separate i.LINK Capture card in your computer.
