Spilled lemonade on my camcorder PLEASE HELP....

I spilled lemonade on my Sony trv140 and it quit working for awhile. I got it dried out and cleaned the sticky off it the best I could but now it wont load the tape.

The deck funtctions fine open and close with no tape in it but when I try to put the tape in it goes half way down then is stuck...

Doe anyone know what I should do?

And it will leave a inch or better of the tape film sticking out when i try to load it
