Streaming video

Can anyone help. When I try to use my firewire to stream video onto my PC it will not download, I have not had a problem in the past. Checked out firewire and lead all OK

What software are you using to download the DV? Did you turn on your camcorder and put it into playback mode?

I am using pinacle 9 and yes i did put it into playback mode, I think perhaps its a problem with the camera connection lead scocket
