USB Streaming with DCR-TRV17E

hi !please helpe me.i have a sony dcr-trv17E .when i connect the usb cable to the computuer nothing appears.only appears when i turn the switch to memory stick mode.but i don´t whant to see the mem stick ,i wanna see the recorded tapes.i´ve dowloaded all the ubs drivers,but still ´can´t see nothing,.can you help me?thanks
