What to do if you can't get the tape out?

what if i cant get the tape out?

I have a dcr-trv480 AND a trv330 that have both failed. The 330 is a brick - nothing works - but it has a good tape in it that wont eject. the 480 makes noises and flashes C32:10 - but nothing budges when i open the door.
Is it possible to disassemble to get the tape out?
thanks

You can always get the tape out by disassembly. But if you have a goal of re-assembling, it may not be so simple.

If the camcorder is now a brick and you have already given up the idea of getting it to work again, then why not? I say get your screwdriver out and start taking it apart. You can even throw a hacksaw into your arsenal.
